Setting Out
Setting Out
We offer a variety of setting out services from the initial site visit, checking control and ensuring that the project actually fits the site. This is normally followed up with periodic visits and often with an as built survey at the end of the project.

Site control & levelling
Site control & levelling
The survey control for the site can be long gone when the project commences. We are often asked to provide additional control or to establish a network of permanent ground markers for the project.
Markers are generally heighted by precise levelling methods.

Precise monitoring
Surveys are carried out over a period of time to monitor the possible settlement or movement of structures. This information related to a precise datum can often be used as a basis for insurance claims.
Former collery sites and slag heaps are monitored for slippage heave and signs of landslide.
